BAWDS OF CAMBRIDGE Established in 1981 Bawds is an amateur production company which presents three main house shows each year with occasional drama festival productions and touring productions, some of which have been presented as far afield as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Directors are invited to submit productions for consideration and open auditions are held for all shows.

COMBINED ACTORS OF CAMBRIDGE - Like Bawds, Combined is an amateur drama production company. The many actors, directors and technicians in and around the Cambridge drama scene participate in both groups' productions. This link is to their new website, which includes a picture archive of previous productions as well as the company's latest news.

CATS - Chatteris Amateur Thespian Society. Formed in 2001, CATS is a small, friendly over-17s amateur dramatics group producing mainly comedy plays.

WATERBEACH COMMUNITY PLAYERS - A village group which encourages membership not only from Waterbeach but also from further afield.

GIRTON PLAYERS - A village theatre group, formed in October 1995. The group stages two or three productions a year at the Glebe School in Girton and, on occasions, Impington Village College. The group has also participated in the Cambridge Drama Festival with some success. Holds open auditions for its productions.

THE OVER PLAYERS - An amateur group established over 20 years ago specialising mainly in musical theatre, pantomime, farce and music hall productions.

THE COUNTY DRAMA WARDROBE - Based in Cambridge, an independent theatrical costume company serving the needs of schools, colleges, universities, amateur dramatic societies and professional theatre companies.
